About Jay

Hey,  

I'm Jay McQuirns - a cartoonist, illustrator, animator and music producer. For nine years I helped to run the Rendering/Animation department at a graphics studio in Philadelphia. My freelance animations have been used by French hip-hop producer Wax Tailor, Philly soul group The Thompsons and others.  My illustration work is sold throughout Philadelphia and enjoyed worldwide. I enjoy hand crafting zines, comic books, mixtapes and many other diy endeavors. I also enjoy my cats Lucy and Sketch.
